Grown in limestone and chalk not far from Sancerre and very similar in style with its bright laser beam of citrus fruit and mineral flavors. Pure and refreshing, brisk in style, with a flinty frame around jicama, gooseberry and herb notes.

Organic. Aromas of white peach, lemon, honeydew, yellow watermelon, honeysuckle and creek stones. Dry and crisp with melon and ripe pear accented by bright lemon and lime zest. Hint of herbaceousness but driven by the fruit. Well balanced modern style.

Sustainable. This is a Chenin Blanc for palates that crave complexity. This wine has an aromatic nose of golden apple, orange blossom, white peach, ripe pear and lemon zest. There are additional notes of chamomile tea, lime, and slate on the honeyed midpalate that lend intrigue and depth. The finish is juicy, bone dry, and mildly salty.

Classic Viognier apricot flavors are prominent in this ripe, full wine. The palate shows a combination of floral notes of acacia flowers, lilies and lavender and hints of fresh bananas. It's as poised a sit is rich--full of fruit, with warm, rounded aftertaste.

Organic. Unfined, unfiltered. This is a deliciously fragrant Chablis with the characteristic flintiness and mineral backbone the appellation is known and loved for. Juicy, energetic and crisp, this wine has delicate notes of struck match, pink grapefruit, apricot, white peach and pear, offering an aromatic complexity few in Chablis can deliver. Long finish, full of texture and ‘chalky’ grip. Superb!

Biodynamic. A mouthwatering white wine, unoaked and hand harvested by this family-run domaine that has been around since the 17th century. Flinty, citrusy, and very bright in acidity. Rich, almost effervescent texture, smoke, flint and grapefruit for days. With tangy green apple notes, this is an especially good match for scallops, classic goat cheese and poultry dishes.

This 100% Chardonnay is made from a selection of some of the northern-most vineyards in the Macon appellation. With hints of pear, apple, citrus and white stone fruit on the palate and balanced acidity, this clean and refreshing Chardonnay resembles the more exalted whites of the Cote d'Or. Sustainable. Domaine des Vieux Pruniers is situated a mere 2.5 miles from Sancerre proper in the village of Bué. Delicate mineral notes of chalk and slate with good citrus and melon in the nose. A crisp and dry, medium-bodied Graves full of rich, fruity, herbal character. The classic white Bordeaux blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, it has a fresh, lingering finish. Pure Sémillon can be a bit uninteresting and Sauvignon Blanc can veer into high-acid territory, but this blend keeps things nice and mellow on the palate with a less zesty finish.

Organic. Rising star Nicolas Delfaud is making incredible wines from east-facing limestone slopes in the Macon-Verzé appellation. With minimal intervention and aged in stainless steel tanks and neutral oak barrels for just 9 month leaves a wine with great nerve and drive. Citrus, pear, starfruit and hints of sea salt abound, with a mineral core that makes a delicious wine.

Organic. Classic with bright green apple, lemon/lime and fresh cut grass and a zippy, clean finish. From 35 year old vines planted in clay-limestone soils. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and fiberglass vats. The wine usually goes through malolactic fermentation and is aged in vat before being bottled without fining or filtering.

Sourced from vineyards that surround the winery and fermented without oak to preserve the underlying expression of its classic terroir. Unoaked, with nicely defined Sauvignon aromas of gooseberry, guava, lime, quinine and tarragon. It is very well balanced, lively and crisp with very good flavor intensity and a bitter green finish. It is 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon.
