The wine goes through a second fermentation process as it is passed over crushed skins of Amarone giving the wine more flavor, body, and complexity. The result is this full-bodied, vibrant Valpolicella Ripasso with an underlying core of dried cherry, plum, and raisin, with a touch of spice.
