This Sauvignon Blanc shows intricate layers of lemons, limes and white peaches, offset by crisp acidity and minerals but softened with buttercream and buttered toast. A vibrant, immaculate wine. Very crisp and perfectly dry.

Grown in limestone and chalk not far from Sancerre and very similar in style with its bright laser beam of citrus fruit and mineral flavors. Pure and refreshing, brisk in style, with a flinty frame around jicama, gooseberry and herb notes.

This lovely Sauvignon Blanc carries notes of herbs and gooseberries on the nose. Medium-bodied, crisp and dry, it has flavors of smoky minerals, juicy tangy citrus and pink grapefruit on the finish. Pair with oysters, salmon, langoustines, and poultry.

The Mount Riley Sauvignon Blanc is a blend from multiple vineyard sites throughout Marlborough and was fermented in stainless steel. Complex with overt aromas of passionfruit, pink grapefruit, citrus and greener components of crushed herb, capsicum and gooseberries. A fresh, vibrant wine with a crisp, lingering finish.

Organic. Classic with bright green apple, lemon/lime and fresh cut grass and a zippy, clean finish. From 35 year old vines planted in clay-limestone soils. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and fiberglass vats. The wine usually goes through malolactic fermentation and is aged in vat before being bottled without fining or filtering.

Sourced from vineyards that surround the winery and fermented without oak to preserve the underlying expression of its classic terroir. Unoaked, with nicely defined Sauvignon aromas of gooseberry, guava, lime, quinine and tarragon. It is very well balanced, lively and crisp with very good flavor intensity and a bitter green finish. It is 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon.

Sustainable. Domaine des Vieux Pruniers is situated a mere 2.5 miles from Sancerre proper in the village of Bué. Delicate mineral notes of chalk and slate with good citrus and melon in the nose. Firm acidity brace this wine so that it will stand up to and marry well with fish, shellfish and goat cheese. Fairly rich in the middle with nice snap.

The nose offers an intense fruit basket dominated by citrus scents with a note of blackcurrant bud; reminiscent of crisp pear and green grass. In the mouth, all is suppleness and elegance.
